Our client is a disruptive market leader in the provision of financial services to Zambian micro, small and medium enterprises. They are a digital champion in providing accessible smart solutions in the financial industry using products that are tailor made for the growing SME industry.
They are looking for a Gender and Financial Inclusion Expert who will project effectively integrate gender considerations and mainstream vulnerable groups, such as women and small scale farmers into their agency banking model and product development.
Responsibilities
- Conducting Need Analysis and Research: Engage in direct interviews, focus groups with women small-scale farmers, and collaborate with partners to gather insights for tailored rural agency banking solutions.
- Create and Deliver Gender Inclusivity Training: Produce training modules for agents on digital platforms and conduct training sessions to promote gender inclusivity.
- Guide Business and Fintech Teams for Customized Financial Services: Translate identified needs into clear requirements for agents, services, processes, and prioritize actionable recommendations for tailored solutions.
- Create Inclusive Financial Literacy and Agency Banking Training: Develop training content addressing challenges of women small-scale farmers and support module creation.
- Implement the Training Plan: Develop and execute the training plan.
- Evaluate Satisfaction of Women Small Scale Farmers and Participants: Measure female agency banking customer satisfaction through gender-segmented surveys and evaluate the training program
Must Have
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Solid proven experience in gender inclusivity engagements
- Proven experience in customer need analysis.
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Proven experience in definition of business requirements.
- Excellent verbal- and written- communication skills
