ACCOUNT&FINANCE OFFICER

We are recruiting an Account & Finance Officer  for one of our clients, whose role will be to carry out, implement and monitor financial and/or accounting operations and produce financial and accounting documents.

 

MISSIONS

Carry out all general accounting operations up to the balance sheet (payroll, social security and tax declarations, management charts, etc.) in compliance with accounting rules.

 Ensure the reliability of the company's accounts in compliance with OHADA accounting, social and tax legislation.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the preparation of the company's operating budget;
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports within the deadlines and in accordance with company procedures;
  • Produce the support file at the end of the season;
  • Draw up and check cash flow statements (daily/weekly, monthly, etc.);
  • Record financial transactions in the company accounts;
  • Draw up and check the company's monthly bank reconciliation statements;
  • Checking the regularity and accuracy of accounting documents;
  • Organise and plan accounting and financial production in compliance with the deadlines and regulations applicable to the company and the country in which it is based;
  • Produce administrative and financial documents rigorously and reliably;
  • Draw up monthly and annual tax and social security returns on time;
  • Help draw up the annual financial statements in agreement with the company's auditor;
  • Ensure the reliability of the company's receivables and payables;
  • Provide support for the collection of trade receivables;
  • Prepare and lead monthly production and cash flow meetings.


PROFILE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • At least 5 years' higher education in finance, accounting, financial management, economics or equivalent;
  • At least 10 years' experience in a similar position in a company, preferably in a firm;
  • Mastery of cost and general accounting techniques and rules;
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office software package);
  • Proficiency in Sage 1000, SAP, etc. accounting software;
  • Financial management skills;
  • Good knowledge of tax issues;
  • Good knowledge of social security issues;
  • Very good level of English (written/spoken).
