They are looking for an Agency Banking and Digital Finance Expert to support the implementation of agent banking for products that are tailored to the needs of women, small scale farmers and rural areas
Responsibilities
- Implement agency banking as part of a team: Implement processes, commission & fee structures, agent onboarding and agent management.
- Manage Agency Banking Pilot, focusing on Gender-Inclusivity and Rural Areas
- Hands-on management of pilot phase including agent onboarding, support, training, marketing and partner collaboration.
- Monitor and report activity and KPIs: Prepare reports and monitor performance, implement and follow-up on internal controls..
- Coordinate Agent Network Expansion: Lead field efforts to identify and train new agents for network expansion
- Prepare Training Materials: Create relevant training materials with taking into account gender-inclusivity and rural areas.
- Facilitate Custom Financial Services and Digital Loans: Collaborate with the technical team to support tailored solutions for women small-scale farmers and assist in coordinating the digital lending pilot for cooperative farmers.
Must Have
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of proven experience in managing agency networks, preferably in a rural context
- Practical experience in micro lending, preferably with operations in rural areas
- Practical experience in digital finance and project management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
