We have partnered with the world’s leading independent conservation organization with a global
network in over 100 countries to look for a People and Culture Manager to Champion a culture of integrity, collaboration, results and accountability across the various business units, in support of the institutions plan for achieving conservation impact and growth.
Responsibilities
- Implement activities to deliver People and culture Key performance indicators of the Strategic Plan
Effectively and timely deliver identified monthly and quarterly HR requirements for the conservation program and donor projects
- Align HR departments activities to the annual conservation program targets for to deliver impact via an equipped and competent team and systems
Support management to attract, recruit, develop and retain the right talent for delivering the strategy, and build program and leadership capacity
Coordinate performance planning and reporting in line with conservation and office outcome indicators.
Implement effective people, organizational and management structures, policies and processes in alignment with acceptable guidelines, policies and procedures and Zambia legal standards.
Coordinate and monitor impact of capacity development activities to align organizational culture to strategic plan ambition and objectives.
Support training for managers and middle managers to increase capacity to drive and manage strategy outcomes
Must Have
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management , Organizational Psychology or related. Masters Degree will be an added advantage.
At least 6 years of HR professional experience in a fast paced impact led environment
Proven track record in Human Resources administration and management
Ability to work and balance both strategic and operational level
Knowledge of the institutional, legal and policy framework of employment and HR management in Zambia.
Active member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
