TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

Intellectual Property and Copyright

All material made available to the participant, or to which the participant is exposed during the course of the training program, including but not limited to all designs, slogans, logos, graphics, videos, sound clips, print outs, slides, training packs etc (“the Material”) is the intellectual property of AMSCO and/or its affiliates and is protected by the applicable copyright and trademark laws.

The replication, modification, use and/or distribution of any Material without the prior express, written authorization of AMSCO are strictly prohibited.


Content

The timetable and agenda for the training program which may be issued to the participant are provided as an outline only, and AMSCO reserves the right to change program details without notice.  In the event that AMSCO is required to postpone or cancel the training program, it shall reimburse the participant the full program fee (unless the participant agrees to attend the rescheduled program), however, it shall not be held liable for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by the participant as a result of any such postponement or cancellation.

Whilst arrangements have been made for the specified speakers, trainers and/or facilitators to attend the training program, AMSCO reserves the right to substitute these if, due to circumstances beyond its control, listed speakers, trainers and/or facilitators are unable to attend.

Views expressed by speakers, trainers and/or facilitators are their own.  AMSCO will not be held liable for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker, trainer and/or facilitator at the training program or in any documentation provided to participants.


Liability

AMSCO accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential or special damages arising from the participant’s attendance of the training program, or use of the information distributed during the training program.


Media

The training program may be documented by a professional photographer and/or videographer for marketing and evaluation related purposes.  By taking part in the training program, the participant thereby consents to his/her photograph or video being taken, and to AMSCO using any images of him/her in printed publications, on its websites or any other medium for advertising, marketing, promotional or other commercial purposes.


Feedback

AMSCO may contact the participant anytime within the 6 (six) months following the completion of the training program, in order to obtain his/her feedback on his/her experience of the training course, which feedback shall be maintained confidential.  The participant gives his/her consent to same, and undertakes to co-operate with any such request, and to provide AMSCO with honest feedback in order to assist AMSCO in ensuring that it continues to improve its services and provide effective and successful training courses.
