Position Specification

The Human Resource Manager’s key focus areas will include:

  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of employee recruitment and selection activities for UTCL in line with HR policies and strategies.
  • Coordinate the organization-wide performance management initiatives and programs in line with HRM policies.
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain the UTCL staff leave plan in line with the Company policy
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of and evaluate internal and external staff training and development programs.
  • Initiate the development of HR-related policies and procedures and provide technical
  • Guidance in the development and implementation of HR and other related policies.
  • Develop HR plans and budgets, coordinate and monitor the implementation of such plans
  • Manage and coordinate staff retirement and exit in line with the company policy
  • Coordinate and manage staff welfare, compensation, and reward systems in line with HRM policies and best practices
  • Oversee the operations of the company clinics and guest house

Responsibilities

  • Initiate the development of HR-related policies and procedures and provide technical guidance in their implementation

  • Develop HR plans and Budgets, coordinate and monitor the implementation of such plans

  • Manage and coordinate staff retirement and exit in line with the company policy

  • Coordinate and manage staff welfare, and, Compensation and Reward systems in line with HRM Policy and best practices

  • Oversee the operations of the factory Clinic and guest house

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or related discipline)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in HR with a reputable organization (3 years at Human Resources Manager level).
  • Has experience managing unions
